Hepta Daisy Petals
Hepta Daisy Petals
Seven petals. One priest. A shared commitment to daily prayer.
Heptadaisy is a simple yet meaningful prayer companion app inspired by the Apostolate Margaretka – a spiritual initiative where seven people commit to praying for a priest, each on a different day of the week.
The name Heptadaisy combines “hepta” (Greek for seven) and “daisy” (symbol of the apostolate). Together, they reflect the seven-petal structure of the prayer group – with the daisy at its heart.
The Apostolate Margaretka is a Catholic prayer initiative founded in Canada in 1981, now active worldwide. It centers on spiritual support for priests through daily prayer offered by seven people, each assigned a specific day of the week.
Together, the group forms a symbolic daisy flower – hence the name “Margaretka” in Polish – where each petal represents one person praying for the same priest.
The commitment is to pray for a priest for life. It is a quiet, non-public ministry: no posts, no announcements – only faithful prayer.
